McLeod Software has added a feature to its LoadMaster that allows customers to check carriers’ insurance status.

This is a real-time interface with the Registry Monitoring Insurance Services' (RMIS) automated service to provide carriers and broker logistics firms access to current information on liability insurance and expiration dates for more than 40,000 carriers. This feature is automated with the LoadMaster Dispatch system to prevent dispatch of a load if a carriers' insurance has expired.

“The partnership with RMIS will allow our customers to quickly find the equipment and services they need, while reducing the risk of using unauthorized, unsafe, or underinsured carriers,” said Rick Halbrooks, vp-sales & marketing for McLeod Software. “We are pleased to offer our customers another avenue for increasing efficiencies and profitability.”
