Texting truck drivers caught on news cameras

Reporter Jim Huff had no trouble finding truck drivers texting while navigating major highways while preparing this story for local New York City television station WABC. One driver was even juggling two devices at the same time.

Huff took his video to NTSB board member Robert Sumwalt and asked: "Do you think the consequences are strict enough for truckers?"

Sumwalt's response?

"Well is it really changing behavior and from your video that indicates a lot of people driving commercial vehicles that are still using personal electronic devices and that would indicate the enforcement side of it is not strong enough."
