Kenworth offers extended warranty

Kenworth Truck Co. is offering a free three-year, 300,000-mile extended warranty for 2002 Cummins ISX and ISM low-emission diesel engines worth between $750 and $1,400. To qualify, customers must purchase a Kenworth T800, W900, T2000 or C500 powered by either a Cummins ISX or ISM 2002 EPA-certified engine between October 1 and January 31. The extended coverage offers protection from fan hub to flywheel,
Kenworth Truck Co. is offering a free three-year, 300,000-mile extended warranty for 2002 Cummins ISX and ISM low-emission diesel engines worth between $750 and $1,400.

To qualify, customers must purchase a Kenworth T800, W900, T2000 or C500 powered by either a Cummins ISX or ISM 2002 EPA-certified engine between October 1 and January 31.

The extended coverage offers protection from fan hub to flywheel, including all cooled EGR subsystem components and variable geometry turbocharger, said Kenworth.

For vocational truck customers, the extended warranty covers five years or 150,000-miles.
