Averitt promotes Scott Potter to vice president of sales for the Tennessee and Virginia region

Averitt recently promoted Scott Potter to VP of sales for the Tennessee and Virginia region following the retirement of Randy Martin on June 1. Martin spent 41 years with Averitt, supporting sales efforts and regional growth during his tenure.

“Scott’s background in both operations and sales gives him a strong understanding of how we support customers across our network,” said Kent Williams, EVP of sales and marketing at Averitt. “He has consistently demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering results, and we’re confident he is well prepared for this role.” 

Potter began his career at Averitt in 1998 as a part-time dock associate in Nashville before advancing through dock and operations leadership roles. Netradyne appoints Sreekanth Annapureddy as CTO amid AI fleet technology expansion

Netradyne recently appointed Sreekanth Annapureddy as CTO as the company continues expanding its AI-powered fleet safety and fuel efficiency platform. The move comes as co-founder and CTO David Julian steps down from operational duties while remaining on the company’s board.

Annapureddy now leads technical direction for the Driveri platform, which uses computer vision, machine learning, edge AI, and large-scale analytics to process driver behavior data across global fleets. The system supports safety performance and fuel efficiency insights while operating billions of vision-analyzed miles.

Annapureddy previously served as EVP of engineering analytics after joining Netradyne in 2015 as one of its earliest engineers. His work has spanned foundational platform development across machine learning, computer vision, and analytics infrastructure, including predictive coaching and fuel efficiency scoring capabilities. Daimler Truck North America names Rakesh Aneja SVP of engineering and technology

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) recently named Rakesh Aneja SVP of engineering and technology, succeeding Randy DeBortoli, who is retiring after more than 33 years with the company. In the role, Aneja will lead the engineering organization, oversee technology strategy and product development, and serve on DTNA’s operating committee.
