• Transite Technology appoints vp of sales

    Russ Lombardo has been named vice president of sales for Transite Technology, a provider of transportation management software and services.

    Transite also named Lisa Riviello primary application support specialist.

    Lombardo joins Transite with more than 30 years of sales and technology experience. He held positions of increasing responsibility with Goldmine Software, SalesLogix, and Bowe Bell & Howell. He has also served as a sales consultant, speaker, trainer, and author, Transite said.

    Riviello has worked for Motorola, Cisco, Vignette and Globalsoft, amassing 17 years of technical, customer-facing, business applications, internal support and development experience.

    “Russ and Lisa bring a level of mature functional domain experience that we need to effectively strengthen our rapidly growing software company,” said Geoff Comrie, CEO of Transite. “We continue to be committed to hiring the best employees who share our vision of creating a high-performing, customer-focused organization.”
