Bendix has announced that Mark Wasem has received the Linda Fehlman Award, given annually to the employee who best exemplifies customer focus, integrity, teamwork, leadership and performance.
The award, given since 1995 in honor of a former Bendix employee who died of cancer, includes a donation in the recipient’s name to the American Cancer Society.
Wasem, who joined Bendix in 1979, currently serving as the company’s director of business excellence. He is a graduate of Bowling Green Statue University with a degree in finance and accounting with a master’s in business administration.
“Mark is a man with unwavering dedication for quality who brings out the best in others and who doesn’t just believe in the power of the team, but is also a master at creating effective groups, no matter the assignment,” said Joe McAleese, Bendix president & CEO. “His leadership style resonates true compassion and caring for the people within our organization, earning him the highest level of respect.”
