Con-way scores safety hat trick

Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL carrier Con-way Freight has been received Great West Fleet Safety Awards from three different state trucking associations

Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL carrier Con-way Freight has been received Great West Fleet Safety Awards from three different state trucking associations.

The Nebraska Trucking Assn. awarded Con-way Freight a certificate for having an accident rate per mile that was significantly lower than the state average; the South Dakota Trucking Assn. gave Con-way the top safety award for its record in the 1.8-to2-million- miles driven category; and the Iowa Motor Trucking Assn. honored the carrier in the over 10-million-miles driven category.
