Tom Pittam has joined Phillips Industries as Southeast Asia sales manager. Pittam will be responsible for growing the company’s presence in the Asia region.
Prior to joining Phillips, Pittam spent 12 years as technical director and marketing manager for Yonming Auto and Industrial Equipment SDN. He has more than 30 years experience in the Far East transportation sector.
“In order to grow our business in S.E. Asia it was important for us to have experienced people on the ground representing the Phillips brand,” said Travis Hopkey, global business development manager. “Tom brings an invaluable background versed in both the region’s cultural customs as well as the requirements of the local transportation industry. This experience should serve us well.”
