Carrier Transicold has introduced a new financing program offered by Lease Corp. of America to help owner-operators and fleets purchase its ComfortPro auxiliary power units (APU).

The financing program is being offered through Carrier’s network of ComfortPro APU dealers.

“We’re supporting [APUs] with financing options that ease the initial investment burden so truckers can start reaping the benefits of an APU,” said Eduardo Andrade, business manager-Special Products for Carrier Transicold. “An APU has a relatively short payback time, but financing the purchase can provide positive cash flow right from the start. It’s not unusual for monthly fuel-cost savings to more than offset monthly installment payments.”
