Richard Beyer has been promoted to the position of vp of engineering, research, and development by Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems.

Beyer has been director of technical sales.

The vp position is a new position that will focus on strengthening the company’s research and development network and shaping product development through customer dialogue.

“The creation of this new role will enhance our global research and development coordination, and help us better deliver value and effective solutions to the commercial vehicle market,” said Joe McAleese, Bendix president & CEO. “Richard’s extensive engineering knowledge and industry experience have provided him a valuable perspective on global technology that will help us further align our priorities and apply the right resources to meet our engineering and R&D objectives to deliver results.”
