U.S. Xpress finalizes Pinner Transportation purchase

U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. has announced its subsidiary, Xpress Global Systems, has finalized the purchase of Pinner Transportation, a regional carrier specializing in floor covering logistics and LTL service

U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. has announced its subsidiary, Xpress Global Systems, has finalized the purchase of Pinner Transportation, a regional carrier specializing in floor covering logistics and LTL service, the company said.

According to U.S. Xpress, the Pinner facilities in Midland, TX; Louisville, KY; Albuquerque, NM; and Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville, FL will now be part of the Xpress network.

"The management team at Xpress Global Systems is very excited about welcoming Pinner associates and their customers to our company,” said John Bowes, president of Xpress Global Systems. “We believe this is a win-win opportunity, and we are currently working with the Pinner management team to make this a seamless transition for all involved.”
