Roadway has launched a new specialized P&D service, facilitated by entering into a strategic alliance with NonstopDelivery, Inc.

Roadway has launched a new specialized P&D service, facilitated by entering into a strategic alliance with NonstopDelivery, Inc., to provide customers with full service final-mile delivery throughout the United States, the company said.

The Custom Solutions Specialized Pickup and Delivery Service offers three levels—white-glove, threshold and basic delivery, tailored to the specific needs of the shipper, Roadway said.

“The addition of the new Roadway Custom Solutions Specialized Pickup and Delivery Service truly complements Roadway’s suite of supply chain solutions to better serve our retail customers and allows Roadway to access the rapid-growth home deliveries market,” said Terry Gilbert, president of Roadway.

Roadway, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc., has more than 295 service centers in the U.S., while NonstopDeliveryhas over 210 distribution points and services.
