Denso promotes Ohya

Kenji Ohya, senior managing director of Denso Corp. and a member of the Board of Directors, will replace Mitsuo “Matt” Matsushita as president & CEO of Denso International America

Kenji Ohya, senior managing director of Denso Corp. and a member of the Board of Directors, will replace Mitsuo “Matt” Matsushita as president & CEO of Denso International America. Ohya has worked for Denso since graduating from Kyoto University in 1972.

Matsushita, also managing officer of Denso Corp., will retire from the company effective December 31.

Matsushita has worked at Denso since he graduated from Kanazawa University in 1971, serving as president & COO of Denso International America since 2002 and president & CEO since 2004. He was executive vp of Denso International Europe B.V. from 2000-2002.
