A line of all-makes replacement fuel tanks for heavy-duty trucks is being introduced by Paccar Parts, available in various capacities of 50 to 150 gallons and a variety of diameters. Marketed under Paccar Parts’ TRP brand, these fuel tanks are available in 23-, 24.5-, 25-and 26-inch diameters, fitting all major OEM truck models, including Freightliner, Navistar International, Mack, Sterling, Volvo and Western Star as well as Paccar’s own Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

“These fuel tanks are made by an ISO-certified manufacturer that uses the same standard of thickness and grade of aluminum called for in OEM manufacturing – using robotic processes to ensure they consistently exceed performance standards, while being treated with an acid etch to provide a consistent, uniform finish,” said Everett Seymoure, global director for TRP.

He added that the TRP fuel tanks have been drop -tested to the same rigorous standards as OEM fuel tanks to ensure their structural integrity. They come available with filler necks in the right, left and center locations to offer a wide variety of options for different fits and functions. They are also backed by a 24-month warranty, Seymoure noted.
