Arkansas Best promotes Newcity

Michael Newcity has been promoted to CFO of Arkansas Best Corp., the holding company for LTL carrier ABF Freight System. He previously served as director of economic analysis.

Newcity has held a variety of positions with ABF Freight System and Data-Tronics Corp., another Arkansas Best Corp. subsidiary, during his 17 year career with the company.

Judy R. McReynolds, Arkansas Best’s president & CEO, said that Newcity “played a significant role in the creation and development of numerous internal and external systems … that have formed the foundation for ABF's customer-centric reputation.”
