• ATA makes internal promotions

    The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has promoted three of its industry experts to new positions

    The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has promoted three of its industry experts to new positions (More ATA news).

    David Osiecki, vp of safety, security and operations, has been promoted to senior vp of policy and regulatory affairs, responsible for all ATA policy and regulatory teams. Osiecki led ATA’s safety task force in developing its 18-point agenda for safety. He also represents ATA on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee.

    ATA also promoted Robert Digges to chief counsel. Diggs has been the vp of law and deputy general counsel in charge of the organization’s litigation center. He has argued cases numerous cases on behalf of ATA, including cases before the U.S. Supreme Court; two Courts of Appeal; six state supreme courts; and dozens of lower federal and state courts.

    Prasad Sharma has been promoted to vp and deputy chief counsel from her current position as vp and administrative counsel.

    “I want to congratulate these highly qualified individuals,” said ATA president & CEO Gov. Bill Graves. “Their experience and expertise will serve them well in their new positions, benefiting our members and working for the greater good of the trucking industry.”
