Diamond Companies , a holding company for a chain of International Truck and IC Bus dealerships, has hired Sam Jenkins as executive vice president.

Jenkins has been a member of the Diamond Companies board of directors since 2010. He has more than 28 years of experience in the banking industry, the company said. He was most recently executive vice president of the Corporate Banking Group for First Tennessee Bank in Memphis.

“I will focus on expanding our employee development and succession planning program,” said Jenkins. “Diamond Companies has many qualified people and because of our growth, we have many opportunities to promote from within. I’m also looking forward to further developing our market presence and market share throughout the Diamond network.”

Diamond Companies operates dealerships in Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.
