TEC of California has opened a 59,000-sq.-ft. “purpose-built heavy-duty truck dealership facility” in La Mirada, CA.

TEC is a wholly owned subsidiary of TEC Equipment.

The new facility is just one block from the current location, and includes 28 service bays on 5.1 acres. There is also a large parts department, truck service, truck financing and a commercial insurance agency.

Both new and used vehicles will be sold at the location.

“This new high-end facility demonstrates our long-term dedication to the region as well as the full support of Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks,” said David Thompson, president & CEO of TEC Equipment.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20 and will feature food and refreshments, vendor displays, entertainment and tours of the facility.

The previous facility will host a used medium-duty commercial truck dealership, offering commercial truck leasing, rental facilities, and a dedicated truck body and paint shop, TEC said.
