Penske breaks ground in North Carolina

This week Penske Truck Leasing, along with local government officials, held a groundbreaking ceremony in Garner, NC to commemorate the building of a state-of-the-art Penske facility in the Greenfield South Business Park. Expected to open in January 2011, Penske is beginning work on constructing a 12,000-sq-ft facility housed on 8.5 acres.

Penske said the new Penske will provide a broad range of services, including commercial and consumer rentals, full-service leasing and contract maintenance. It will contain three truck bays, a wash bay and a two-lane fuel service island.

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P., headquartered in Reading, PA., is a joint venture of Penske Corporation, Penske Automotive Group and General Electric.
