    Feb. 6, 2012

Bridgestone  Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has made several personnel changes in its  Bridgestone Commercial Group. John Boynton has been named vice president of  sales for TBR, Retread and Construction Tires. Within BATO’s Company Owned  Operations Group (COO), Doyle Bradford has accepted the position of Vice  President, Sales and Operations.

Also, Stacey Simmons has accepted the role of director of  strategic planning, a new position in the organization designed to develop and  execute long-term strategies for all commercial businesses.

“Under this new structure, we have created a very dynamic  and effective leadership team for our commercial tire organization,” said Ken  Weaver, president, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales Division, BATO.

“With these changes,” he added, “our business will also be  more streamlined, more responsive to changing market conditions and better  positioned to achieve our goal of providing customers with comprehensive,  solution-based offerings.”
