Compli will host a free webinar on Thursday, June 28, focused on legal and liability issues facing companies that employ drivers.

Tim Wiseman, a partner in the national transportation law firm of Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary, will present an in-depth discussion of the DOT’s new cell phone prohibition, hours-of-service regulations, EOBRs, sleep apnea proposal and more.

Those participating in the webinar, titled “Liability Concerns for Companies with Commercial Vehicle Fleets: Avoiding Multi-Million Dollar Verdicts and Government Scrutiny,” and signing up with Compli by Aug. 1 will receive a courtesy review of their company’s distracted driving policies by an attorney at Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary.

“We are very excited about this new collaboration with one of the nation’s foremost law firms specializing in the trucking industry,” said Nick Goodell, general manager – trucking & transportation for Compli. “This is an especially timely webinar, considering the deluge of governmental regulations that are currently impacting the way all trucking companies conduct business.
