Polar Tank Trailer names gm for Missouri plant

Brent Thompson has been named general manager of Polar Tank Trailer’s Springfield, MO, manufacturing operation.

Thompson will direct the plant’s day-to-day and strategic operations. He previously worked in senior operations and management positions with the ITW Ramset division of Illinois Tool Work.

“Brent has the right combination of plant-management experience to lead our Springfield operation to world-class levels of performance,” said Jim Painter, president of Polar Tank Trailer.

Polar Tank Trailer, a division of Polar Corp., designs and builds custom tank trailers for dry and liquid bulk cargoes including oil and fuel, food products, asphalt, chemicals, and corrosives.
