    Sept. 10, 2013

Jost International has hired Ken Bultemeier Jr. as director of truck OE business development. Bultemeier brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry to the position.

He started his career with Navistar International Truck and Engine Corp. in 1986 as a design engineer. In 2009, Bultemeier was named director, general manager North American product development for Navistar.

Bultemeier is a member of TMC, a regular technical speaker at commercial industry forums and has attained several patents related to interior design function and idle management, Jost said.

“We are thrilled to bring Ken on board and believe his strong background and knowledge of class 8 market applications, chassis engineering and aerodynamics allows us to offer extraordinary value to our OEM and national fleet partners,” said Rich Carroll, vice president-sales and marketing. “We are determined more than ever to offer solutions and expertise combined with global leading fifth wheel technologies. As we move beyond fifth wheels as basic safety devices into advanced integrated systems Ken will lead the way in collaboration with our OEM customers.”
