NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, has recognized 20 additional organizations as Member Verification Program companies for the quarter ending September 2013. In addition, seven companies have requalified for the MVP this quarter, bringing the total number of NTEA MVP companies to 258.
The MVP program recognizes truck equipment distributors, manufacturers and upfitters for their implementation of specified business standards and processes, and for taking significant steps to comply with applicable government regulations. Criteria to meet the MVP standards can involve liability insurance, warranty programs, vehicle and employee certification, safety policies and quality assurance, NTEA said.
“Since its inception, we’ve seen the program increase in importance to membership, truck dealers, fleets and OEMs,” said NTEA Executive Director Steve Carey. “The MVP demonstrates the participants’ commitment to excellence through the use of safety and quality standards. We congratulate these companies for their diligence and accomplishment.”
