Nashville ice doesn’t dampen outlook for TMC

Feb. 17, 2015

Despite the ice that has blanketed Nashville this week, the 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Trucking Assns.’ Technology & Maintenance Council is taking place at Nashville’s Music City Center.

Plenty of new products and updates to existing products are on display. Among the companies that have already showed off their offerings are Dana, Michelin, Optronics, Decisiv, Cummins Filtration, Eaton, SkyBitz and more.

“TMC’s members pride themselves on being on the cutting edge of trucking industry technology and maintenance practices,” said Carl Kirk, ATA vice president of maintenance, information technology & logistics and TMC executive director. “TMC’s Transportation Technology Exhibition shows the best in industry technology and equipment. We’re pleased to welcome so many of our supplier and manufacturer partners here to our annual meeting and exhibition.”

This year’s exhibit consists of nearly 400 exhibitors in 370,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, the largest exhibition in the council’s history, ATA said.

Fleet Owner’s Senior Editor Sean Kilcarr along with Kevin Jones, editor of sister publication American Trucker, are at the show and filing reports that can be found on fleetowner.com.
