Online used equipment marketplace IronPlanet is offering a webinar on how technology can help fleets get the most out of their used equipment sales. The webinar, "eBay to Excavators — Planning for Profit in the Digital Age," happens Weds., Dec. 14 at 10:00 a.m. PST / 1:00 p.m. EST.

IronPlanet Chief Marketing Officer Matt Ackley and VP of Seller Marketing Michelle O'Brien will discuss "evolving digital processes for marketing and selling in the fast-paced digital age," the company says. 

The 45-minute webinar is designed for sellers of used heavy equipment, machinery, trucks and other rolling stock, IronPlanet says, and will give participants the opportunity to:

• Gain insight into IronPlanet platforms available when you're considering how to sell;

• Listen to ex-eBay marketing VP Matt Ackley discuss how digital marketing and data-driven analytics are molding the future of equipment disposition globally;

• Check out IronPlanet's new "Make Offer" format, which the company says is an "extremely flexible" fixed price offering with negotiation or the ability to make an offer; and

• Engage with the website presenters to ask any questions they have on globalized digital marketing.
