DAT names OTR Capital as factoring partner

Oct. 12, 2021
Factorable loads from the transportation-focused factoring company are available now on the DAT network, where an average of 887,000 loads are posted each business day.

DAT Freight & Analytics is partnering with OTR Capital to expand factoring services available to freight brokers and carriers through DAT’s load board network.

OTR Capital provides fast, reliable factoring services to a wide range of DAT customers, giving brokers access to much-needed capacity while expanding the opportunities for carriers looking to remain loaded. OTR Capital’s experience in transportation and unique factoring solutions allow brokers and carriers of all sizes to focus on running their businesses while removing the worry of back-office headaches and cash flow concerns.

“OTR Capital has a track record of exceptional customer service with both small and large clients. With the unprecedented growth of DAT’s load board, this partnership provides greater access to factoring across the breadth of our network,” said Greg Hastings, DAT VP of strategy execution. “Every OTR Capital employee has a ‘client-first’ attitude which will allow more brokers and carriers to take advantage of getting paid faster. We look forward to building this unique partnership as OTR Capital and DAT work together to provide carriers and brokers with the best tools in the industry.”

Carriers on the DAT network have access to OTR Capital’s customizable invoice factoring services with no monthly minimums, hidden fees, volume limits, credit restrictions or long-term contracts. They can easily see which loads are factorable through OTR Capital: any load posted to the DAT network with a blue checkmark is approved for advance funding. Carriers can also benefit from OTR Capital’s back-office support services, including invoicing, collecting, dispute resolution, and fuel card services.

“We are very excited to be partnering with DAT to deliver a new standard of service to their vast network of brokers and carriers,” said Clayton Griffin, EVP and chief strategy officer at OTR Capital. “Since our founding, OTR Capital has been focused on developing solutions that truly assist in making trucking companies and freight brokers more successful."

“Trucking is hard, which is why we wake up every day trying to find ways to make our clients’ lives easier,” Griffin concluded. “We consider this new partnership with DAT, the largest load board for freight, to be aligned with that mission.”
