Advantage Truck Group’s Haulin’ 4 Hunger program marks second annual meal donation in New Hampshire, launches Meals on Wheels partnership
Advantage Truck Group’s (ATG) Haulin’ 4 Hunger program is deepening its commitment to fighting food insecurity in New Hampshire by expanding its fresh meal deliveries to Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County and making its second annual donation to Manchester’s Families in Transition.
On June 25, employees at ATG’s Manchester location delivered a combined total of 1,040 breakfast bundles to the two organizations. Designed to feed up to eight people, each meal bag contained breakfast sandwiches, English muffins, cereal, peanut butter, and fresh produce.
“Food donations like the Haulin' 4 Hunger drive are about much more than stocking shelves—they help us respond immediately when someone is facing hunger,” said Kristin Kostecki, VP of Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County. “Every week, our pantry bags provide critical support to older adults and adults with disabilities who may be waiting for meal service to begin, struggling to make food last between deliveries, or experiencing a sudden life crisis. We regularly meet people who have little or no food in their homes, and these donations allow us to put nutritious food in their hands right away. The generosity of Haulin' 4 Hunger and its supporters helps ensure that our neighbors do not have to face hunger alone.”
Haulin’ 4 Hunger makes quarterly deliveries of nonperishable meals to food pantries near ATG locations in Lancaster, Lebanon, and Seabrook, New Hampshire, and its other dealerships in Raynham and Westfield, Massachusetts, and Westminster, Vermont. The program also makes annual fresh-meal donations each December to organizations near ATG’s Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, dealership.
"Breakfast is a critical meal, and these donations help organizations meet increased summer demand, a time when children lose access to school programs and older adults face heightened health risks," said Sarah Harrington, ATG director of marketing. "Our employees are the backbone of Haulin’ 4 Hunger, volunteering their time to sort, package, and deliver food. They care deeply about our communities, and their dedication is what makes this program possible."

Sonnhalter continues tradition with 17th Annual Tool Drive supporting Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity
Sonnhalter, a communications firm marketing to professional tradesmen in the construction, industrial, and MRO markets, will host its 17th Annual Tool Drive in partnership with the Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. Since launching the initiative in 2010, Sonnhalter’s Tool Drive has raised $603,000 in donations to support Habitat’s mission of providing safe, affordable housing opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio.
Sonnhalter’s Annual Tool Drive will run throughout August. “Each year, we continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity of our clients, partners, and the Northeast Ohio community,” Matt Sonnhalter, vision architect at Sonnhalter, said. “What began as a small initiative has grown into a meaningful annual tradition that supports Habitat for Humanity’s mission while bringing the trades community together for a greater purpose. Reaching more than $603,000 in donations is a milestone we are extremely proud of, and we are excited to build on that momentum during our 17th year.”

Bridgestone to plant nearly 59,000 trees following annual campaign
Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, recently revealed that nearly 59,000 trees will be planted in communities nationwide as a result of the company’s fourth annual “Download the App, Plant a Tree” campaign. Since 2023, the initiative has planted more than 244,000 trees by encouraging customers of Firestone Complete Auto Care and Tires Plus to help the tire and automotive service locations reduce paper waste.
Between Earth Day (April 22) and the conclusion of Bridgestone’s Sustainable Business Week (May 12), BSRO partnered with The Nature Conservancy to plant a tree for every new My Firestone and Tires Plus app download. This year’s campaign generated nearly 59,000 app downloads, resulting in the donation and planting of nearly 59,000 tree seedlings.
“We are proud to see this campaign continue to grow and support Bridgestone’s long-term sustainability goals,” Marko Ibrahim, president of BSRO, said. “By helping expand green space in communities across the country, our stores are demonstrating what it means to live out our Promise to Care.”
Bridgestone has partnered with The Nature Conservancy for two years in a row to help reforest flood-prone areas in the Mississippi Delta region, protecting at-risk farmland. Additionally, Bridgestone donated over 5,700 acres of land to The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee in 2018, the largest land donation in the chapter’s history.
