POCL completes expansion of Texas facility

P&O Cold Logistics (POCL) has completed its Houston/La Porte TX facility expansion. This 2.6-million-cubic-foot addition brings the total warehouse to more than 6 million cubic feet of full-racked storage and includes blast freezing capacity of about one million pounds per week.

Located two miles from the Port of Houston Barbours Cut container terminal, this facility offers refrigerated docks, -20° to +45° F convertible storage areas, blast freezing, 36 truck dock doors, and four rail doors on a Union Pacific Fruit Express siding.
