XATA Corp has added Perishable Distributors of Iowa Ltd (PDI) to its list of private fleet customers.

PDI purchased XATA's OpCenter fleet management system along with two-way satellite communications to support 70 trucks that operate in eight states throughout the Midwest. The purchase follows XATA's recent announcement regarding the integration of ORBCOMM's advanced two-way satellite network into its fleet management technologies.

Through XATA's Learned Standards capabilities combined with two-way satellite communications, PDI can leverage real-time, accurate data accumulation and analysis. PDI anticipates increased driver productivity, less driver paperwork, increased fuel economy, reduced clerical time and better asset utilization.
