Alcoa Wheel & Forged Products' patented Dura-Bright surface treatment option is now provided for its full line of 14" aluminum wheels in addition to other select wide-base wheel applications.

Dura-Bright aluminum wheels resist corrosion and eliminate the need for polishing. Initially offered in 1999 in the transit bus industry, Dura-Bright wheels offer a high-quality shine with a spray of soap and water. They're available for applications including truck and trailer, RV and motor home, and bus and motor coach.

At 71 pounds, the Alcoa 14" wheel carries a 12,800-lb maximum load rating. Switching from steel duals to an Alcoa wide-base wheel and tire assembly saves 318 pounds per axle — up to 1,272 pounds per tractor and tandem axle trailer.
