FTR Associates has scheduled its 2005 conference, “America's Freight Transportation Through 2009,” for September 7 in Indianapolis IN.

The conference will open with Bill Strauss, senior economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, giving his economic outlook, followed by a United States Freight and Modal Share Analysis presented by Ed Graham, senior consultant of FTR Associates. Industry veterans from the trucking, intermodal, and rail industries will then present five-year outlooks for their respective transportation segments.
