PAM's net income inches upward in 3Q

Tontitown AR-based PAM Transportation Services Inc, which includes refrigerated service at David McNeill Trucking, reported net income of $3,147,789 for the quarter ended Sept 30, 2004, and $8,825,729 for the nine-month period of 2004. These results compare with net income of $2,964,507 and $9,828,644, respectively, for the three and nine months ended Sept 30, 2003.

Operating revenues excluding fuel surcharges were $75,222,024 for the third quarter of 2004, a 1.4% increase versus $74,215,880 for the third quarter of 2003. Operating revenues excluding fuel surcharges were $231,966,182 for the nine months ended Sept 30, 2004, a 5.8% gain compared with $219,311,194 for the nine months ended Sept 30, 2003.
