ICS Logistics Inc, a Jacksonville FL-based logistics company, has announced an $800,000 expansion of its JaxPort Talleyrand facilities. The expanded storage space will allow ICS Logistics to handle more perishable food products shipped primarily to Russia, West Africa, and the Caribbean and be better positioned to handle perishable food imports from Australia, New Zealand, and South America.

Poultry shipments to Russia are a major component of ICS Logistics' JaxPort operations, and this expansion will provide the capacity ICS will need to service the approximately 25% to 30% increase in export tonnage it projects to handle.

The Stellar Group is the contractor, and completion is scheduled for late October 2002.
