Eaton Corp's Clutch Division has partnered with Kongsberg Automotive for mutual design and marketing of clutch actuation and gear shift systems. This five-year exclusive agreement for business in North America includes Eaton's Aeroquip hoses and fittings from its Fluid Power business unit.
Kongsberg Automotive develops, manufactures, and markets truck systems including clutch actuation, gearshift, and stabilizing rods. Commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and construction equipment comprise 40% of its production.
Eaton designs, manufactures, and markets drivetrain systems and components for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
