Atlas Cold Storage will implement RedPrairie Corp's DLx Transportation Management Solution (TMS) across its distribution network to boost the efficiency of its cold storage warehousing and distribution business. Atlas operates one of the largest public refrigerated warehouse networks in North America and the largest in Canada.

DLx will provide transportation planning, execution, and reporting capabilities to meet demands of the transportation industry and Atlas customers. Atlas plans to implement the TMS in its Green Bay WI, Hatfield PA, and McDonough GA facilities later in 2005 and in Canada in 2006.

The three United States sites represent more than 1.3 million square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage space with 200-plus dock doors to provide pool and consolidation programs. Atlas supplies refrigerated and frozen storage and transportation services to frozen food companies, with products including ice cream, prepared meals, poultry, and dairy.
