The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) have set the dates for IANA's 2004 Intermodal Expo and NITL's TransComp 2004. This co-hosted event will be held Nov 13-16 at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio TX. Additionally, IANA and NITL will hold their annual meetings in conjunction with the event, and the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) will hold its fall meeting.
This year's event will feature Jerry Moyes, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Swift (parent company of truckload carrier Swift Transportation Co Inc), as opening keynote speaker. Gene Kranz, NASA's lead flight director who successfully brought the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission safely back to earth, will provide the closing general session address.
Topical issue forums, educational sessions, and networking opportunities also will fill each day's schedule. A trade show floor will be overflowing with equipment, technology, and services. Trade show hours for the 2004 Intermodal Expo and TransComp 2004 will be Sunday, November 14, 1 pm-5 pm; Monday, November 15, 10 am-2 pm and 5 pm-7 pm; and Tuesday, November 16, 9:30 am-1 pm.
