    Performance Food Group has announced results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec 30, 2006.

    Consolidated net sales from continuing operations in the fourth quarter were approximately $1.5 billion, an increase of about 3% compared with the prior-year quarter. Net earnings from continuing operations in the fourth quarter amounted to around $12.9 million, which was unchanged versus the same quarter in 2005.

    For the full year 2006, consolidated net sales from continuing operations were about $5.8 billion, an increase of approximately 2% from the 2005 period. Net earnings from continuing operations for the full year increased about 3% to around $42.9 million compared with approximately $41.8 million the year before.
