Advanced Cooling has completed its first year of operations from a new complex of facilities in Yuma AZ. The company pre-cools fresh-picked Iceberg lettuce, berries, melons, vegetables, and other produce to prepare it for refrigerated shipment.

Liberty Buildings of Bartlett TN supplied the pre-engineered metal buildings, including a 5,000-square-foot shop, 7,500-sq-ft boxed-storage building, 3,500-sq-ft forklift battery recharge center, and 66,000-sq-ft cold-storage building. An existing structure also received a 4,000-sq-ft metal re-roof. Fleming West, based in Scottsdale AZ, served as metal building contractor.
