Marten Transport, the refrigerated truckload carrier, plans to open a new terminal in Indianapolis IN and expand its Mondovi WI corporate headquarters.

Marten Transport, the refrigerated truckload carrier, plans to open a new terminal in Indianapolis IN and expand its Mondovi WI corporate headquarters by more than 11,000 square feet.

According to Robert Smith, chief operating officer, both projects are expected to be operational within three months.

In other news, Marten has paid $361,500 in productivity bonuses to its drivers for the third quarter of 2004. The company also has awarded $442,905 in safety bonuses, $288,000 year so far in referral bonuses, and $154,648 in fuel bonuses. These driver bonuses total more than $1,240,000.
