GCCA elevates key leaders
The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) recently named Bryan Lynch its executive vice president of business development, and executive director of the Controlled Environment Builders Association (CEBA), as part of a series of staff promotions.
In addition, James Rogers was elevated to the role of VP of business development, Katie Sastre was named GCCA’s business development manager, and Madison Jaco was lifted to manager of international programs.
“Each of these individuals has played a significant role in the growth of GCCA and enhancement of our programs and services for our members across the globe over the past 18 months,” said Matthew R. Ott, GCCA president and CEO. “I look forward to continuing to work with all of them on our efforts to support GCCA’s core partner organizations and the cold chain industry.”
Lynch joined GCCA in July 2020 as senior VP of business development and led efforts to enhance member value through the addition and enhancement of programs and events in North America. In his new position, he will add international business development responsibilities and serve in a newly created role as CEBA executive director, where he’ll work closely with Ott and CEBA’s board of directors on the development of strategy and growth initiatives benefiting members in the controlled environment construction, design, and building segment.
“I’m honored and excited for this new opportunity,” Lynch said. “GCCA is dedicated to growing globally through its relentless pursuit of delivering superior member value and engagement. It’s exciting to help lead a best-in-class team to support the continued growth and expansion of CEBA and GCCA Core Partners.”
Rogers has been with GCCA for 14 years, serving in numerous membership, marketing, and business development roles, most recently as senior director of business development.
In addition to these promotions, GCCA added two new staff members.
Lydia Barr joined GCCA as coordinator of education and programs, and will report to Lynch. Barr served in event, programming, and communication roles for the Texas Rental Services Association and the American Society of Human Genetics.
Ecaterina “Kate” Leonova joins GCCA as finance coordinator and will report to GCCA’s chief financial officer, Omizak Kadirbergenov.
