M&M Quality Solutions recently expanded its operations with a new cold-storage facility in Kansas City’s SubTropolis. The company, which provides third-party logistics services across North America, views the facility as a regional cold-chain hub for food and supplement storage, refrigerated distribution, and temperature-sensitive logistics.
Located at 9000 N.E. Underground Drive, Pillar 112, the 18,757-sq.-ft. site offers truck and rail dock access, enabling inbound and outbound operations. The underground setting provides a naturally climate-controlled, energy-efficient, and secure environment designed to maintain product integrity while improving supply-chain efficiency. The facility will be fully operational by the end of October.
"This expansion reflects our commitment to the future of logistics and to the Kansas City region," Brian McMaster, CEO of M&M Quality Solutions, said. "SubTropolis provides the perfect environment for our Adaptive Growth Logistics model—offering our partners reliability, efficiency, and intelligence in how products move, market, and grow."
