AFS Technologies announced the signing of foodservice distributor Hansen Distribution Group to Discovery Analytics and Discovery Planner, AFS Technologies’ business intelligence and planning systems. Hansen will use Discovery Analytics to help increase sales efficiency and visibility across its organization.

Quickly implemented, Discovery Analytics includes drill-down capability, intuitive point-and-click navigation, customizable dashboards, and dynamic charting. It helps food and beverage companies optimize profits by offering robust, easy-to-use actionable intelligence that gives users access to information necessary for faster, more intelligent decisions. Discovery Planner enables companies to easily plan sales budgets, profit and loss plans, and forecasts.

Discovery Analytics is one tool within AFS Technologies’ complete Profit Optimization Package. This package increases efficiencies across an entire trade promotion management (TPM) workflow. The closed-loop package combines the power of planning and budgeting, trade spend management, backend claims processing, and analytics and reporting.

An independent, locally owned broadline distributor, Hansen provides its customers throughout the Hawaiian islands with products and service. In operation since 1957, it has expanded to serve more than 1,000 clients, including restaurants, retailers, schools, and hotels.
