At this year’s 29th annual Knorr Great Chowder Cook-Off in Newport RI, Alaska made it onto the map.

At this year’s 29th annual Knorr Great Chowder Cook-Off in Newport RI, Alaska made it onto the map. This year, Tracy’s King Crab Shack, a small Alaskan king crab business based in Juneau, Alaska, won third place in the Best Seafood category as well as securing the Clambassador Award at the June 5th competition.

Partnering with Kool Pak LLC, a West Coast LTL refrigerated trucking carrier, owner Tracy LeBarge arranged for the carrier to transport her king crab bisque across the United States in time for the national competition. Kool Pak congratulates Tracy’s King Crab Shack on its achievement and on bringing Alaskan king crab bisque to Rhode Island.
