The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) has scheduled its Distribution Solutions Conference for October 26-28, 2015, at the Phoenix (AZ) Convention Center.
This annual operations conference provides insights and information for those attending, and the workshops address everything from the most pressing operational challenges to subjects that keep you ahead of the curve.
Highlights of the upcoming DSC include:
•Your Leadership Brand in Operations—Personal development on the long-term impression you make as a leader in operations.
•Operator Co-op Perspective—Wendy’s Supply Chain personnel talk about what they look for in a distribution partner.
•Crash Avoidance through Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication—Research to develop and implement modified wi-fi technology that could alter the nature of truck safety.
•Union Avoidance Strategies—IFDA’s Labor Counsel will address dramatic changes to the union organizing process.
•Transportation & Warehouse Idea Exchanges—Part panel, part full audience interaction, this is an opportunity for open sharing on operations issues.
Along with sharpened workshop content, new products and technologies at the expo, and networking with industry peers, this year’s DSC has a new emphasis in our general sessions to deliver insights for personal improvement that will make you a better leader.
This year, a money-back guarantee has been instituted. If you attend the DSC and decide that you are not satisfied with your learning experience, email Toni Salmi at [email protected] by November 6, 2015, and your registration fee will be promptly refunded. The money-back guarantee is only for distributor attendee registrations.
Registration rates have been changed to reward companies that bring multiple attendees, and there is now differentiated pricing for IFDA members and non-members.
Under the new rate system, the first IFDA member attendee is $795, and the second through the ninth IFDA member attendee is $695. IFDA members bringing 10 or more people get a Power User Rate of $495 for each and every attendee. Pricing for non-members is $200 higher than the IFDA member rate. See more www.ifdaonline.org.
