America’s Best Employers list features 500 employers from 25 industry sectors. Employers are chosen based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 30,000 US employees working for mid- to large-size companies. Employees are consulted anonymously through several online panels and asked to rate how likely they were to recommend their employer to someone else; and how they felt about other employers in their industry on a scale of zero to 10.
