Reliant Leasing Systems of Houston TX and Icebox Solutions of Washingtonville NY have announced a joint venture within the cold supply chain. The newly combined team now offers short-term lease offerings and long- and short-term rental programs of refrigerated trailers for processors, distributors, shippers, and cold storage providers within the temperature-controlled and refrigerated transportation industry.

“This is a great opportunity for Reliant to expand our customer base and venture into a product offering that is in such short supply today,” said James Marcel, managing partner of Reliant Leasing Systems.

Reliant Leasing Systems was established in 1998 as a lessor and reseller of semitrailer and cargo-related equipment products.

The agreement allows Reliant Leasing Systems to provide Icebox Solutions branded products and to commit resources to the service requirements associated with environment-controlled freight. Reliant Leasing Systems and Icebox Solutions will continue to build value offerings and products specifically tailored for the foodservice and distribution segments of transportation.
