For the fifth consecutive year, Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics have earned placement on the Victory Media 2016 Top 100 Military-Friendly Employer and Military Spouse-Friendly Employer list. Victory is the publisher of G I Jobs and Military Spouse magazines.

Companies received consideration for this list via a data-driven survey of thousands of companies with resulting survey data independently tested by Ernst & Young LLP based upon weightings and methodology established by Victory.

Criteria for the survey included a benchmark score across key programs and policies such as the strength of company military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs, and company policies on National Guard and Reserve service.

“Penske proudly hires and employs veterans and active National Guard and Reserve members throughout our truck leasing and logistics businesses,” said Jennifer Sockel, Penske senior vice-president of human resources. “We sincerely appreciate their service and dedication to our country. The values, work ethic, and skills veterans and active military members bring to our workplace are truly valued within our organization.”

Approximately 13% of Penske’s annual new hires are veterans. Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics offer a range of career opportunities including truck fleet maintenance technicians, truck drivers, fleet maintenance supervisors, operations management roles, as well as logistics and supply chain operations roles.
