Carrier Transicold’s 2022 Dealer of the Year for North America is Reefer Sales & Service. Commemorating the achievement are Joe Porto, director of sales, and Cindy Cady, region director for Canada and Eastern U.S., both from Carrier Transicold; Dominque Barbuto, vice president of Atlantic Carrier Transicold, a division of Reefer Sales & Service; Steve Henwood, Reefer Sales & Service vice president; Brad Otsuka, Reefer Sales & Service general manager; Steve Ruby, Carrier Transicold dealer network manager; and Alice DeBiasio, vice president and general manager for truck trailer Americas and digital solutions at Carrier.

Carrier Transicold recently named Canada’s Reefer Sales & Service its North America Dealer of the Year and Mexico’s Refrigeración Tijuana S. de R.L. de C.V. its Latin America Dealer of the Year for 2022.

“Carrier Transicold dealers continue to demonstrate incredible determination and leadership in supporting wide-ranging customer needs and challenges,” Alice DeBiasio, vice president and general manager for truck trailer Americas and digital solutions at Carrier, said in a news release. “Many of the opportunities secured by our network were realized because our dealers went beyond what was required to fulfill customer needs.”

With six authorized Carrier Transicold locations serving the refrigerated transport industry throughout southern Ontario and the Maritimes, Reefer Sales & Service won Dealer of the Year for its flagship operation in Brampton, Canada.

“Achieving this recognition has everything to do with our great employees,” said Ken Henwood, president of Reefer Sales & Service.

Added Steve Henwood, the dealership’s vice president and son of Ken Henwood: “As we enter our 34th year of business, we continue to invest in our facilities, which demonstrates our commitment to our customers and their operations, as well as our own team.”

From its headquarters in Tijuana, Mexico, Refrigeración Tijuana serves the transport refrigeration industry throughout the Baja California peninsula and in Sonora, under the leadership of General Manager Juan Camacho.

“Refrigeración Tijuana has continued to invest in its employees, enhancing technician skills through advanced training,” said Alejandro Genera, senior manager for Latin America operations at Carrier Transicold. “Refrigeración Tijuana has also branched into previously unserved regions to extend its service and product offerings to new customers.”

Carrier Transicold also named two recipients of its Extra Mile Award for exemplary customer service: W&B Service Company of Converse, Texas, and ColdFront of Surrey, British Columbia. In all, Carrier Transicold recognized 52 of its more than 200 dealerships throughout the Americas with 90 awards for achievements in customer satisfaction, growth, business investment, and service proficiency during the prior year.
