Miller Truck Leasing expands into Massachusetts

April 2, 2024
Acquisition of fellow NationaLease member Advantage Truck Leasing includes 6,000 trucks and more than 35 locations.

Miller Truck Leasing recently acquired the assets and facility of fellow NationaLease member Advantage Truck Leasing, which is headquartered in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

The acquisition fits with Miller’s strategy to expand services into markets where a strong independent truck lessor and maintenance company can provide a great service alternative, the company reported.

Miller Truck Leasing has serviced customers for over 112 years and now provides over 6,000 trucks from 35-plus locations.

“We are excited to move into Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, where Advantage and its team has served its great customer base and look forward to continuing to be a vital part of our customers’ businesses,” Mark Miller, Miller Truck Leasing vice president, said in a news release. “Advantage has always been the top service provider in its market, and we look forward to continuing the tradition of outstanding service that Advantage and its employees have always shown.”

Today, Miller, which provides refrigerated straight trucks among numerous vehicle offerings, is the largest privately held commercial truck lease and rental company on the East Coast and delivers the personal touch and service of a family-owned company with the size and scale of a large national truck lessor, the company said.

Miller offer a full line of rental and lease equipment. It also provides contract maintenance for fleets that want to outsource truck maintenance, and dedicated trucking and logistics for customers who outsource transportation.
